Upcoming Events at the Felton Library

Happy Monday, Felton Library Friends! We hope you can join us at our FLF meeting on November 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the Felton LIbrary Community Room, for upcoming special events at the Felton Branch, and for the new ongoing events added to the calendar. See the details below!

Special Events

Tuesday, October 26, 5–6:30 p.m.
Author Book Talk with Deborah Osterberg on Historic Tales of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park—Big Trees Grove (The History Press, 2020)

 

Saturday, November 6, 2–5 p.m.  
Dia de los Muertos. Enjoy the Community Altar, and a Spanish Storytime. Light refreshments will be wrapped up to-go for your safety.


Wednesday, November 10, 5–6 p.m.  
"Birth Happens" final program, Taking it Home. Elizabeth Yznaga in conversation with April Burns and Sharon Potteiger. Sponsored by SLV Museum in partnership with FLF and SCPL. 

New Ongoing Events

Tai Chi @ the Library
Mondays, 10 a.m–11 a.m.
Join us every Monday for an hour of gentle body movements with teacher Mary Mulligan. Wear clothes that you can move easily in. This program is free.

Board in the Library
4th Saturday of every month
Adults need playtime too! Come play some new or old favorite tabletop games. Bring your favorite board game or play some of the library's games. No prior gaming experience is necessary.
COVID Protocol: As a reminder, masks are required for all people ages 3 and up at all times while in library spaces for all SCPL programs, whether indoor or outdoor.
