WHAT'S BEEN HAPPENING?
AGM 2021
Like many other places this year, getting together to celebrate our AGM wasn't able to be done the way we usually do it.  The Board have dealt with all the formal arrangements at subsequent Board Meetings, but the Annual Year in Review video and Annual Report have been shared via social media.  Here's the video again in case you missed it, and if you'd like a read of our Annual Report click here.
Number 10 Year in Review Video
At the AGM we were also planning to honour in person one of our fantastic volunteers, Tulaga- the creative mastermind behind our fabulous looking exterior artwork (below), all round good guy, and fabulous connector with young people.
Tulaga- thank you SO much for your mahi with our rangatahi over the last 2 years. Your energy, humility, creativity and quiet strength are such an inspiration to all of us!

GROUP PROGRAMMES
YOUNG HUMS 2021
On the 11th-15th of October we ran our annual Young Hums Group Programme. Over the week the group planted some trees with the Otatara Landcare group, learnt some First Aid Skills with Number 10 Clinical Manager Jude, found out about what Surf Lifesaving do, and participated in a clean up of Oreti Beach with Bronwyn from the Southland Community Nursery.  They also went 10 pin bowling, swimming at Splash Palace, climbed at ILT Stadium, played games on the Number 10 lawn, had a round of Frisbee Golf at Queens Park and ate a ton of food!
As the photos show, they had a blast!
CREATIVE ARTS
After being on hold for some time, Creative Arts have been back together since the school holidays, and are having a blast!  So far they've played some Art games, had a mini-tournament on the Number 10 lawn, and started on some stone carving (below).  Coming up there's more stone carving and some tie-dyeing before the end of the year.
E14E - EVERYONE FOR EQUALITY
It's been a really messy year for the E14E group.  Term 4 has seen them back in person after being virtual since Level 4 covid restrictions kicked in.  The group have loved being back together, doing a scavenger hunt, colouring-in competition and other fun activities.  Coming up they are having a session with Rachael from CanBead (details below) and will be going 10 pin bowling before the end of the year.
