Age Friendly in Focus: Understanding access and inclusion for older adults in the built environment - a research study conducted in collaboration between Community Links Nova Scotia and the PEACH Research Unit at Dalhousie University is hosting 5 Community Engagement Sessions this November
Five engagement sessions will take place across Nova Scotia and will give community members the opportunity to share their experiences and stories. Participants will be asked to view photographs of features of the built environment and reflect on their experience of accessibility or barriers within their community.
Nov. 17, 2-3:30 PM at the Keshen Goodman Library, Clayton Park
Nov. 22, 2-3:30 PM at the New Glasgow Regional Library,
Nov. 23, 2-3:30 PM at the McConnel Library in Sydney, Cape Breton
Nov. 26, 2-3:30 PM at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre, Bridgewater
Virtual session will take place: November 30, 10-11:30 AM via Zoom
A graphic recorder will turn the conversation into visuals and these powerful graphic recordings will be highlighted in the photobook!
