This Christmas, we get to show local youth transitioning out of foster care and local foster families that they are loved and cared for. These current and former foster children are all provided services through the Visalia Aspiranet office, a CarePortal Requesting Agency. This is a great way to engage responders who have not yet met a CarePortal request or might not feel comfortable meeting a family in person.

Over the next few weeks, there will be CarePortal requests for specific Christmas gifts for every Transition Age Youth and Foster Family served by Aspiranet. The request will have more details, but here are the essentials:
  • Every request is for a specific child or youth impacted by foster care right here in Tulare County
  • Multiple items will be listed, the responder can decide if they want to purchase one or all of the items
  • Items are to be dropped off or shipped to the Visalia Aspiranet Office (4128 S. Demaree St. Suite B Visalia, CA 93277)
  • If possible, please wrap the gift. If wrapped, label it with the tracking number in the request so it goes to the right youth! (T-1, T-2, see image below). You are welcome to include a personal note too!
  • Gifts are due by December 15. Point People, you can collect any gifts at your church and deliver all at once if that works better for your responders!
