The Congress, which took place in Moscow 4-7 October, brought together more than 300 history teachers from around the world to discuss both thematic and methodological issues of history education. EuroClio’s Secretariat staff and several Board members were present as either participants or workshop hosts at all Congress sessions. Association news
The goal of EuroClio's latest project is to enable young people to gain a deeper understanding of the roots of discrimination in the present by researching the victims of National Socialists. To achieve this, we will design, develop, and test local youth-empowered history projects around the key question “Who were the victims of the National Socialists?” in six countries. This will be done by an interdisciplinary cross-border team of history educators, specialists in the history of National Socialism, and museum educators in close cooperation with youth and community members.

The project is supported as part of the Education Agenda NS-Injustice, an initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Finance and the EVZ Foundation in response to the worrying increase in antisemitism, antigypsyism, racism and LGBTQI hostility. Read more on our website and stay tuned for how you can get involved! ->
