Undergraduate Fellowships in Critical DH

The Undergraduate Fellowships in Critical Digital Humanities will embed eligible undergraduate students within existing critical digital humanities research projects at U of T. The fellowship will fund 12 weeks of work, conducted between January 3 and April 30, 2022. The total fellowship value is $3000 (8-10hrs/wk at $20/hr). Any U of T faculty member or librarian leading a DH project may apply by December 10. If successful, the project lead will recruit an undergraduate student to join the project. The undergraduate fellow will submit a full project plan in January 2022. For eligibility, reporting, and application details, please visit our website.

Digital Humanities Learning Communities

The Digital Humanities Learning Community Grant is a grant of up to $2000 offered in support of groups of four or more individuals co-working towards specific digital humanities research during the Winter and Spring 2022 semesters. Groups must meet a minimum of four times between January 3 and June 30, 2022. While the proposed learning communities should have defined research goals, opportunities for group training, experiential learning, and/or experimental methodologies may also be written into the application. Applications outlining the learning community’s objectives and activities, members, and budget are due December 10. For eligibility, reporting, and application details, please visit our website.

As always, we welcome newsletter submissions of other events, CFPs, job postings, or digital resources that may be of interest during this time. Take care and stay safe!
