St. Francis of Assisi Church and School is partnering with George Mason University School of Nursing and the Mason and Partners Clinic to provide COVID-19 vaccinations to children ages 5-11.

Second Dose will be Saturday 12/11/2021 – registration for the second does will be after the reception of the first dose on 11/20/2021
There are appointments for 150 children, but if there is interest the appointments are able to be increases to 300. We will monitor the sign-up and increase as needed.
George Mason School of Nursing will bring 20 – 25 nursing faculty and students to staff the event.
The Pfizer vaccine for children will be provided.
The “standard operating procedure” includes an adverse reaction emergency kit including epi injections, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximeter, and cots in the event people need to lay down.
After the injection, each recipient will be asked to remain in a waiting area for a 15-minute observation period.
Please download and complete a "Screening and Vaccine Consent Form" for each child being vaccinated. There will be forms available on the day, but please take a moment to complete the form(s) before arriving at the school.
