A Word from Pastor Sam
Good afternoon church,
You are invited to Fellowship's 8th annual Chili Cook-off! When I think of our church's traditions, Chili Cook-off is at or at least near the top of the list. Last year, we were unable to come together for this event, but this year we are able to. I am so thankful to God, and I hope that you are as excited to be together and fellowship as I am.
The party is happening this Saturday, from 4:00-6:00pm, in the Pocket Park across from the Landers. There will be lots of fun for the kids (and us adults too), as well as lots of good food. Even if you did not sign up, you can still make and bring a chili to be judged in the competition or to just share with others. We are asking that everyone bring chairs. There will be some seating provided, but it will be limited.
I am eagerly looking forward to this weekend with you all. May the grace and love of God be with you.

PRAYER FOCUS
This week, let us pray for our new lead pastor. He is here, and he will be at the Chili Cook-off. He will also be preaching on Sunday. Let us pray that God would bless him and his ministry with us. Let us pray that we would join him in ministering to our community.

Mom's Day Out - our holiday schedule!
We will be closed the full week of Thanksgiving so our teachers can be with their families. For Christmas, our last day will be Dec 16th, and we'll be back January 4th!
Mom's Day Out is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 until 12:30 for kiddos 6 weeks to 5 years old. You can call the Fellowship office at 870-698-9244 for more info on MDO. We can always use subs, so please contact Carrie Swinea at 870-974-0153 for more info on being a sub. Please know we will take all health precautions with your kiddos. Hope to see you there!

Fellowship will serve at Our Father's Table again this Saturday, Nov 13th from 11-2!
Thanks to Fellowship for showing love to our community as we host the 2nd Saturday of each month. We will be serving outside at the old site - across the street from the Baptist Assoc. building under the old gas station awning.
This is what we still need:
12 loaves of SANDWICHES (bread, meat, and cheese only in a ziptop bag)
4-5 POTS OF SOUP (hot & ready to serve)
FRUIT (bananas, bags of apples or oranges)
COOKIES (2 per individual ziplock bag)
CASES of WATER
4-5 SERVERS
Please drop off day of BETWEEN 10:30-10:45. If you're bringing food early, drop it off at the church office Mon-Thurs from 9-3. Please let us know what you are bringing so we can plan accordingly:

FSM Winter Retreat!
Parents, do not wait to register your 6th-12th grade student for Winter Retreat! Winter Retreat is a weekend of fun recreation, worship, and teaching. The retreat will take place January 7th-9th, at Shepherd of the Ozarks. The cost is $100. Full details can be found by going to the student ministry page on the church website and clicking the link to register. The deadline to register and pay the fee is Wednesday, December 15th.

Diaper Drop-off for our new babes!
We are having a diaper drive for a couple of our moms-to-be! Danielle Adams and Brenda Rivera already have kiddos, so they don't need everything, but these new littles will need diapers, wipes, etc.!!
There is a basket in the lobby of the Landers for your gifts. Danielle prefers Pampers Pure diapers and wipes, and Brenda would like size 3 diapers, no preferred brand. Let's bless them!!
UPDATE: Carlos and Brenda's newest little bundle of joy has arrived!! Watch for a special email soon!!

Want to serve with Fellowship Kids? Over the course of one child's year, we have 52 opportunities (if they come to church every single Sunday) to connect with their family, influence them and share the message of Jesus. It just takes a few great people to lead (using hands-on/video-led curriculum by Orange), play, sing, game, and just enjoy sharing Jesus with Fellowship Kids! If you can commit a semester, a month, or just one or two Sundays here and there please contact us at the email above, stop by the Welcome Desk and check out the schedule, or call the church office at 870-698-9244 Monday - Thursday.

Thanksgiving Blessing Bags!
We will be giving out Blessing Bags again this year to bless those with less. They will be distributed the weekend before Thanksgiving, and will have all of the food necessary for a nice Thanksgiving meal, including a ham!
The bags are $25 each and can be paid for at the office (9-3 Mon-Thurs) or to Connie at church on Sundays. You can call the office at 870-698-9244, or call or text Connie Coleman at 870-307-4177, and let us know how many bags you'd like to buy. The deadline for ordering/paying is Nov 15th, so let us know!! Also, a few people have signed up who have not yet paid - hint!

Women's Hike!
We have a women’s hike at Mountain View planned for Saturday, November 13th.
We will hike 4.7 miles from Blanchard Springs to Allison. It will take about 3 hours. There will be a creek crossing at the end that will be about ankle deep. Please bring a pair of shoes for crossing or you can go barefoot. :)
Two options for meeting:
1. 8:15am at the Exxon at the top of Ramsey Mountain
OR
2. 9:15am at Angler’s restaurant in Mountain View.
We will carpool to the trailhead from Angler’s to decrease the number of cars at the trail.
We will eat lunch in town after the hike for anyone that wants to join.
