It’s a pretty awesome day for nonprofits around the world to share their mission and need with their community. As part of the Arts community in Lakeland and Polk County, we want to recognize the needs of our Academy and Company at Florida Dance Theatre. Here are a few ways you can help!

Florida Dance Theatre Academy Scholarships: When a family is facing financial hardships we are able to help by providing a tuition-free month of dance to allow them to continue their passion to learn.
Costumes For A Cause: Impact the life of a student by sponsoring their costume for an upcoming performance.
Arts In Education Series: FDT works with underprivileged kids at local public schools to share the art of dance. Become an AES partner today!
Adopt A Dancer: Support the career of a dancer in the professional company of FDT through their work on-stage, instruction in the academy, and performances in our community.

How To Create A Facebook Fundraiser

Open your browser and go to Facebook.com

On the left toolbar on Facebook, click Fundraisers
Then, on the left toolbar click Raise money
Click Nonprofit
Scroll or type in Florida Dance Theatre
On the left, enter the amount of money you would like to raise (suggested $250)
Then enter the date you would like to complete the fundraiser (11/30/2021)
Click Create
