There is no PTA meeting in December, so this is our last meeting until 2022!
We hope to see you Tuesday!
Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the early giving campaign for Give to the Max Day! Your donations are appreciated! We have raised $400 so far, which means we still need to raise $5600 to meet our goal of supporting OLE Art. Through your generosity and help to spread the word, we can do this!
There is still time to donate! Give to the Max runs through Thursday, Nov. 18th.
For this year’s campaign, OLE PTA’s goal is to raise $6,000 in support of our Art Program. Every year, with the help of our generous donors, OLE PTA is able to offer, students three art lessons and a clay project, using our very own kiln. We hope you can help make this campaign a success and continue the gift of ART to our students!
How can you help?
Donate
Donate on the OLE PTA page of the Give MN website
Every donation helps, even as little as $5! Each donation made through GiveMN.org qualifies OLE PTA for additional grants from the Give to the Max prize pool. In fact, there are 144 chances to win, including a $10K golden ticket!
Does your employer offer a company match program? This is a great way for the OLE PTA to raise extra funds and make your donation go further. Ask your company’s HR Department for more info!
Follow OLE PTA on Facebook and share our social media posts! From now through 11/18, OLE PTA will be posting about WHY and HOW to give. Please reshare and help spread the message.
Adalyn Bjorkman, an OLE alum, let us know how much of a difference your support makes for the Art program. “Art means being able to express your thoughts in a unique way and Art at Otter Lake helped me do that. You can create whatever your heart desires. You have no limitations. You can make whatever you want and have fun with it.”
Thank you for your generous support, together we can give OLE students the gift of ART!

THANK YOU to the families who participated in the Bear Scare and made it such a successful event!
It was a record breaking year for the Bear Scare! We had a total of 439 people registered the day of the run. That's the most ever! We can't thank you enough for supporting OLE and Lincoln and coming out to participate. We hope you had as much fun as we did and we can't wait to see you next year!
November Staff Appreciation
Thank you to everyone who brought in items for conferences on November 9th!
We are so grateful that we were able to provide a wonderful meal to the OLE staff. It was enjoyed by all, and much deserved.
We thank our amazing OLE teachers and staff for everything they do for our students and community every day!

The OLE PTA is looking for chairs for the OLE Musical, BINGO Bash and the Carnival. The students have so much fun at these events, and none of them are possible without you! If you are interested in any of these chair positions, or have any questions, please click the button below to email the OLE PTA.
Ashland Musical Student registration for the Ashland Musical begins on
November 15th but we still do not have a chair for this event! The Ashland Musical is in jeopardy of not happening this year if we are unable to find one or two people willing to take on this fun and rewarding role. Please consider making a tremendous impact on the OLE community and donate your time and talents to the musical.
OLE is slated to have one cast in the traditional ACT I program. Rehearsals are currently slated to begin the week of December 6th. Rehearsals will be held at OLE on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, from 2:25-3:40 pm. Tech week will begin at Ashland on Monday, April 4 (exact dates and times to follow). Performances will be held at Ashland on April 8-10. Exact performance times will be announced very soon. In order to provide this amazing experience to OLE students, we need a chair who is willing to attend all rehearsals, tech week and performances. This position could be shared between two people.
Bingo Bash & Carnival
Bingo Bash and the OLE Carnival are in need of chairs to bring these events to life! Since we will not be able to hold these events in the same way as we have in the past, we are exploring options to host these events outdoors sometime this spring. We are looking for energetic chairs to help! Planning begins soon on these events. We need your help today!
These fun filled events brings families together at school and creates smiles galore! All the work that goes into Bingo Bash and the Carnival is rewarded by the pure joy the students experience.
The PTA isn't possible without the tireless efforts of ALL our amazing volunteers! We will spotlight a great volunteer each month so that all of you can get to know the individuals who generously give their time and talents to the OLE Community.
The PTA November Volunteer of the Month is
Inga Rundquist!
Inga is the genius behind the PTA social media, she contributes to communications and she helps with OLE Art as well. Want to learn a little bit more about Inga? Click the button below!
Thank you, Inga, for everything you do to support the students at OLE!
Your time and generosity do not go unnoticed!
Want to help support your OLE students? Download the Box Top for Education app and scan your receipts!
Since Box Tops went 100% digital, we've seen the Student Council budget decline significantly. YOU can play a role in changing that. The OLE student Council uses the funds to provide mints to students for MCAs, donate money to the PTA for the carnival, contribute to fundraisers at OLE, and much more!
Do you shop on Amazon?
If so, you can help support the OLE PTA when you shop!
Supporting the OLE PTA when you shop on Amazon is easy, and it makes a huge impact! All you have to do is click the button below and sign in to your Amazon account. From there, select Otter Lake PTA as your charity. When you shop, make sure you are shopping on smile.amazon.com and Amazon will donate a percentage of the price of your purchase to the OLE PTA each and every time! It's a win-win!
The purpose of our PTA is to enrich the experiences of all students and the Otter Lake Community by sharing our time, talents, and treasure. You help make all this possible! If you are interested in joining the PTA, would like to volunteer, or have an exciting idea to share with us, please fill out the volunteer form below. We look forward to connecting with you!
Meetings will take place in the OLE Media Center from 6:30-8:00pm. Child care is provided. Please remember that masks are required in the building at this time.
