2021 WBFI ANNUAL MEETING: Everything to know before the 2021 Annual Meeting!
Where is the event located?
The WBFI 2021 meeting will take place at the Lost Pines Resort (575 Hyatt Lost Pines Rd, Cedar Creek, TX 78612). WBFI will be hosting an off-site reception and an opportunity to go into downtown Austin November 10th for our evening reception. View our meeting agenda for room specific information.
How do I get to the resort?
From the airport, taxi, Uber, Lyft or shuttle is the best way to get to the resort in about 25 minutes. Pick up area is in the second level of the garage, across from bag pick-up. If you decide to drive or rent a vehicle paid overnight parking is available at the resort.
What's the dress code for this event?
Business casual, but extra points if you bring a cowboy hat or boots to fit the Texas theme!
What meals are covered by WBFI?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, drinks, and even snacks are provided by WBFI and our generous sponsors November 9th-11th.
Do we get to explore Austin?
After the distillery tour on November 10th, a bus will take guests interested in exploring Austin into the city. You will have an opportunity to go back to the hotel straight from the distillery, or spend time downtown and catch the bus back at 10:00 PM. If you choose to howl at the moon, Lyft, Uber, or Taxi will take you back to the resort.
What health and safety protocols can I expect?
It is required by the venue that all unvaccinated attendees are required to wear face masks in all public areas, indoors and outdoors. If you are vaccinated, we request that you wear a mask when social distancing is not feasible indoors, or at your own comfort level. WBFI will be providing masks for you!

As of now, the state of Texas is allowing indoor events while maintaining appropriate social distancing. We are closely monitoring the situation in the Austin area, and there may be potential for changes if regulations change. We will be providing guidance on health & safety protocol closer to the event. If you are excited about meeting again in person and are looking forward to attending the 2021 in-person Annual Meeting, please purchase your ticket now as we are selling them on a first-come-first-serve basis!
If restrictions change and we are unable to have the Meeting in-person, attendees who purchased in-person tickets will be refunded their ticket funding.
