Vintners! 

The California Dept of Food and Ag (CDFA) has once again seen fit to give us significant funding - $362,000 to be exact – to promote our region to Southern California. We have now been awarded our second marketing grant to expand our West of France, Just North of LA campaign to San Diego and Orange County.

We will continue our work with IMW marketing agency since we had such great success with them on our last grant. (You can find the Final Report on that grant here.) The new grant and this partnership will bring you more media tours, comprehensive PR, professional social media management, and targeted digital advertising for another year. Keep your eyes out for video assets, a reinforced website, and as much publicity as we can leverage with our 2021 Wine Enthusiast Region of the Year win just announced this morning. 

And to round out my day, I’m off to the Ritz-Carlton Bacara – who has recently joined as a Featured Hotel Member – to receive my award as one of the Pacific Coast Business Times Top 50 Women in Business tonight.

Sometimes, amidst the controlled chaos that is this job, it’s nice to sit back and reap the rewards, as they say.
