Parent Resources
We are currently hiring full-time aides for our STEP department. If you know of anyone that has a servant's heart, a love for the Lord, and a gift for working with children, please send them our way! Learn more and apply at www.faith-christian.org/jobs
We have a student-teacher who is looking to learn from our teachers and is in need of a room to stay in for the second semester. If you are interested in learning more about whether that might be a good fit for your family, contact Mrs. Meridith Allen for more information.
Picture retakes will take place on November 9th for those who missed picture day or if you purchased pictures and are not satisfied. No theme shirts, please.
Students are encouraged to wear red and black to show their school spirit on Friday, November 12th in support of our volleyball team and their upcoming tournament.

Hearing and Vision Screening: Tuesday, November 16
The state of Arizona requires that students in certain grade levels/categories receive a hearing and vision screening. We ask that students in the noted categories have the screening done at the school or provide written documentation of the hearing/vision results from their physician. This screening is available to any student whose parents would like them tested at a reasonable cost. Please see the
Hearing/Vision Consent form sent home with your child last week. This form must be returned to the school office by the end of the day today. Please call the school office with any questions.
Welcome to the season of giving and thankfulness! As we move through this season, FCS would like to take a special day to come together and celebrate. On Wednesday, November 24th all Faith families are invited to join the students at school for a few events. The sanctuary will open at 10:00 to begin the festivities with the Elementary Heritage Day Parade at 10:15 followed by a time of Praise and Worship at 11. We will also spend some time sharing what we are thankful for as well as announce the amount raised during the FCS Gives Back fundraiser. After that we will head outside for a picnic. All students K-12 will be dismissed at 12:30 to leave for the Thanksgiving weekend.

For the picnic, you can order a bagged lunch for your students AND for any family members that will be attending using the FACTS Family Portal as you do for other hot lunches. Families planning to attend and order sandwiches for themselves can do so by increasing the quantity on the FACTS order form for your child (look for PICNIC, PIE and PRAISE on Nov 24th).  Lunch is $5 per person which includes your choice of ham or turkey sandwich, chips, a water bottle, and a personal pie.  The deadline to order is Thursday, November 18th.  Any students who do not order lunch should bring a bagged lunch that does not require preparation. Everyone will be offered a personal pie, regardless if they order a sandwich or not, and there will be no charge. We look forward to spending the day together!
