Sometimes a child care provider is the first to notice a difference in a child in their care, but many providers are uncertain about how to talk to families about concerns. In this session we will go over strategies for having supportive, productive conversations with families regarding development and support services.

Join Allison Biggers as she facilitates a discussion of Fairy Dust Teaching’s 2021 Free to Play Summit’s conversation with Alise Shafer Ivey: “The Power of the Nest: What Every Child Needs to Thrive.” 

This moving talk and presentation offers an inspiring look at the humanitarian work being done right now to provide some of the most compromised and underserved children in our world – those caught in the middle of the global refugee crisis – with the education, play, joy, and respect that is every child’s right.

Mind in the Making, a program of the Bezos Family Foundation, shares the science of children’s learning through innovative in-depth training and materials geared for action.

Quality Counts Coach Allison Biggers will be presenting this three day event. Please plan on attending all 3 sessions.
