Cllrs Michele Mead and Norman MacRae
Over 100 people attended the Flood Fair at the Witney Town Centre Shop. We organised this event to inform and educate people on how to prepare for flooding and who to contact in the event of different types of flooding this winter.

Thames Water, Oxfordshire County Council and the Environment Agency were on site to answer residents’ questions and the general feedback from residents who attended was positive.

1. Turn your thermostat down by just 1°C
Thermostat
Turn your thermostat down by just 1°C will reduce energy use and could save you 10% on your energy bills. A safe, warm home should have its thermostat set to between 18-21°C. The Energy Saving Trust has plenty of advice on home heating and other energy saving measures.
