St. Thomas Updates
Rector Search Update:
The committee is excited to announce that we have completed the process of interviewing candidates that were approved and given to the St. Thomas Rector search committee by the Diocese and look forward to making an announcement no later than December 15th.
Stewardship Update:
The committee is ecstatic to announce that the parish has overwhelmingly supported and committed to 500 minutes and for many, even more minutes! Thank you! Our financial campaign continues and we will bless our gifts of commitment to St. Thomas this Sunday, November 7th. As of Friday 3:30 pm gifts total $230,860 from 46 families. A great start, thank you!. As a reminder, reaching our goal of $500,000 WILL, for the first time in a very long time, allow us to balance our budget! It will also allow St. Thomas, together with our future Rector and you, to focus on areas that are important to each of us, particularly giving back to our BCS community.
After Sunday, Kammy will be reaching out via letter, and then by personal contact, to those who may wish to have a personal conversation. We are grateful for your gifts, for being a part of your lives, for the hope of the wonderful things to come, and mostly for the gift of Jesus as God’s gift to all of us.
