Better email security with multifactor authentication (MFA)
Microsoft is ending support for basic authentication soon. We’re using this opportunity to improve the security of our email service by disabling applications that don't use MFA. To make sure this doesn't affect you, you should only use supported email software and apps.

Top tips for saving energy
Put on your slippers and a jumper instead of turning up the heating when you're working at home, switch off lights when you leave a room, as well as your laptop at the end of the day, and remember that you can still hang your clothes out to dry. Find out more about sustainability at Essex.

Make sure you get tested regularly
If you're working on campus you should take a COVID-19 Lateral Flow Test twice a week. You can take a test at one of our campus testing clinics or collect test kits for use at home. Find out more about testing.
