New Continuing Education Program  in Scenario Analysis for Professional Interim Leaders Starting November 10

Third Sector Company is excited to announce the addition of a third ongoing continuing education program for aspiring and practicing interim leaders of community impact organizations. The Interim Leadership Scenarios and Case Study Labs create opportunities for peers to dissect real-time situations challenging many organizations. Participants are also invited to share their dilemmas from current or recent engagements to benefit from the insight, feedback, and advice of experienced peers.

The new learning labs are offered in partnership with the Alliance for Nonprofit Management, one of the nation's largest and oldest associations for professional consultants and capacity-building professionals for the nonprofit sector.

  • Interim Executives Academy, Class #11, has successfully kicked off with close to 30 people from around the country participating.   We are so thrilled to have the leadership of Joan Baumgartner Brown with the Academy’s Leadership Team soon announcing some wonderful enhancements for the Academy Experience starting in 2022.
  • Board Chairs Academy also launched its “Silver Edition” with the 25th cohort welcoming 70 participants from 15 organizations.  We are so excited to welcome Tom Lang, formerly with Washington Nonprofits, as our Academy senior strategist and we give a standing ovation to Randy Brinson for his unwavering leadership and innovation to the Academy programs over the past two years.

  • Our National Interim Division Takes Off with United Way. The first quarterly roundtable for people who serve as interim leaders or have been trained to serve as interim leaders for local United Ways across the country will convene on November 10. The new United Way Interim Executives National Roundtable demonstrates the national model that Third Sector Company is introducing to national nonprofit systems.  Thanks to our new partnership with the United Way Retirees Association, there are now 12 United Way interims around the country with Academy training and support.
