Consultation / survey - proposed changes to Croydon council tax support scheme

The way we support people with paying their council tax may be changing for working age adults.

Have your say

Before we make changes to our council tax support scheme we must, by law, ask for your feedback. We want to make sure we are using the £30m of investment in the best way. This consultation is open to all; people who currently receive council tax support, the voluntary and community sector organisations that provide extra help to people receiving council tax support, and anyone who has an interest in the level of council tax support provided by the council.

This consultation closes Thursday 9 December 2021.

Feedback from this consultation will be used to consider the fairness of the proposed scheme and help us prepare the final recommendations which will be taken to cabinet on 24 January 2022 and then full council on 31 January 2022.

If agreed the new scheme would start from April 2022.

If you would like this information in a different format, contact CTSconsultation@croydon.gov.uk(External link).

The 4th annual festival of theatre, dance and cabaret
at Stanley Arts in South Norwood and online
18th - 28th November 2021

A Bit Of A Do is an annual festival of theatre, dance and cabaret, featuring work by disabled and non-disabled artists.

The festival takes place at Stanley Arts – a community arts venue in South Norwood, in the London Borough of Croydon.

All events include British Sign Language / English interpreters.

Some of our events feature enhanced access for visually impaired audiences (see individual events for more information or email our designated access officer – chris@drunkenchorus.co.uk).

This year’s festival features a series of digital events, alongside our live programme. This includes live streams, pre-recorded performances, unique events for digital-only audiences, and some hybrid events that take place both online and in person.

We are working with some wonderful partners to deliver this year’s festival, including Stanley Arts, Improbable, Club Soda & Gig Buddies and Willow Learning for Life.
