2021-2022 Virtual Professional Development Education Modules NOW Available
AAFCS is excited to announce that two of the 2021-2022 Virtual Professional Development (VPD) modules are NOW available! VPD Education Modules are a member benefit! AAFCS Professional, Emeritus, AHE New Grads & Student Members may access modules for FREE!

Our first module focuses on appropriate technology for the kitchen and highlights one of the appliances in homes, schools, and labs. How well do you know your oven? This VPD presentation explores how an oven maintains temperature, why your oven thermometer may not be accurate and what features to look for in a smart appliance. Misty Vinson Hughes, Consumer Centricity Module Leader at BSH Home Appliance, and Henri Creech, Consumer Scientist at BSH Home Appliance share their expertise and provide a wealth of knowledge and resources to AAFCS members.

Each AAFCS VPD module includes a 30 minute recorded presentation, web resources, and lesson plans to put the content into action. The modules are available on-demand (24-7) for convenient access and viewing. To access all components of the modules, members must be logged in to their MyAAFCS Account.
