With your help, California Family Council has had quite the year!
On August 25, we brought the first-ever California March for Life to the Capitol. When we first began planning, the task seemed daunting. Yet families like you came from across the state to be a voice for life in Sacramento. My team and I were honored to co-host such a monumental event!
California Family Council also sounded the alarm about bureaucrats’ destructive and irrational policies. When State Senator Scott Wiener introduced SB 357 to legalize loitering for prostitution, CFC dug past the muddy language to uncover the horrific consequences. We held a press conference with survivors of sex trafficking who warned SB 357 could prevent survivors from being rescued by the police. This proposal had not received much attention and might have quietly slipped through without our coalition’s hard work. After an enormous outcry, the bill is still pending, so we still have work to do.
Time and again, CFC exposed the dangers of far too many bills the media would rather ignore. While propagandists used phrases like “confidential medical information” and “ethnic studies” to promote AB 1184 (requiring insurance companies to hide children’s medical procedures from their parents) and AB 101 (mandatory instruction of “Critical Race Theory” to high school students), our team cut through the euphemisms. We helped uncover how these and other shocking schemes harm California families.

We have big plans for 2022. With a new website, additional staff, and improved infrastructure, we’ll be able to get you updates even faster, expand our network, and recruit more California families to the fight.
