This Sunday at SDFC

This Sunday, we will have our Classic & Contemporary worship services, both taking place at 10:30am following our 9am Sunday School hour. Here's an overview of the schedule:

9:00AM: Adult & Kid's Sunday Schools:
- Sojourners (Ellipse Chapel)
- Open Door (Family Life Center)
- Come & Go (Church Office)
- Kid's Sunday School (Children's Building)

10:30AM: Worship Services & Children's Church:
- Contemporary Service (Brown Chapel)
- Classic Service (Ellipse Chapel)
- Children's Church (Children's Building)

At this time we are encouraging the use of masks and face coverings indoors, regardless of vaccination status, in an effort to reduce the potential spread of COVID-19 and its variants.

If gathering in-person isn't right for you at this time, we invite you to stay connected via our online options. Our sermon podcasts are available for you to listen anytime you'd like on our website, www.sdfcnaz.com. This week's recording will be available by 10am on Sunday morning.

Women's Ministry Kickoff Lunch

This Sunday, November 7 ● 12–2PM

Please join us for a lunch to kickoff and generate the interest in a Women’s Ministry! We will gather for lunch in the Friendship Plaza after church and share hopes and dreams for a ministry that could see and know us as women in the church.

All women of our church are invited to attend, join in fellowship with one another, and share their thoughts on the future of women's ministry at SDFC!

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE
Sign-Ups begin this Sunday!

Stop by the Children's Building after church this Sunday and sign-up to donate to our Thanksgiving Food Drive!

This year, we are collecting food items that will be distributed to two other local Nazarene churches: Southeast Church of the Nazarene located near National City, and Living Water in downtown San Diego. Both of these churches will be hosting a meal for those in need this holiday season. We look forward to having you join us in partnering with our local ministry partners in this way this Thanksgiving!

Monday, November 15 ● 6:30–8:30PM

You're invited to our next SDFC Young Adults event. Join us for an evening of fun as we enjoy Thanksgiving-themed desserts and games!
Feel free to bring a dessert to share!

SDFC Adult U presents...
THE BIBLE FOR EVERYONE

Wednesdays ● 6:30–8PM ● Bowes Conference Room

This weekly adult Bible study is designed for everyone — from novice to intermediate readers of the Bible! The class will run from September 22nd through December 17th.

Session leaders include Dee Kelley, Matt Wilson, Michael Lodahl and Brad Kelle.

In Our Prayers...

Alisha Brower: Please join us in praying for Alisha, and the rest of the Brower family, as she begins her battle with breast cancer.
Morgan Tucker: Morgan has asked for prayers for strength and focus as she begins a new journey with a cancer diagnosis and completes appointments in preparation for chemotherapy.
Carolyn Rumsey: Carolyn has asked that you join her in praying for the education and development of her great-grandchildren, Sean (3rd grade) and Hailey (2nd grade).
Ken Strickland: Ken has asked for prayers for his father, who recently turned 94 years old!
