" I was taught that the term 'Ramadan' means the 'hot month'.  Well December is the 'hottest' month of the year in this capitalist system. You just saw Black Friday leading into it. Every business was 'hot'. The alcohol industry and everything else is heating up now, gearing up for this 'hot month'. 'Hot', as in when gambling. If a man is steady 'hitting', he says "I'm hot".
  So We take it to a spiritual level here. So because this is the 'hot month', we abstain from taking part in anything that's about it."
