'Tis the time to do a good deed.

'Tis the season to give a little bit of your heart to NICU babies. In honor of the World Prematurity Day on November 17th, we are super excited to kick off our annual Keep Them Warm Drive! We need your support in providing hats, blankets and octopi to the NICUs. Since inception, Hats & Peas has donated more than 2,900+ hats, 590+ blankets and 450+ Octopi to NICUs in the New York metropolitan area. Starting this holiday season, and throughout the next twelve months, our target is to donate at least 500 hats, 200 blankets and 150 octopi to neonatal intensive care units across New York areas.

In order to achieve this goal, we are counting on the kindness of our friends, families and network - and that includes you!

Meet Victoria Daniel. She is an amazing 14-yr old that spent her summer raising awareness in her school and raising funds for premature babies in the NICU. Victoria raised $160 as part of her community outreach for Hats and Peas. The funds will sponsor 16 octopi. Be amazing .... Be like Victoria.

Loops of Love

Hats & Peas continued our collaborations with the Loops of Love at Morgan Stanley Bank. The group continued to support us in form of hats, blankets and octopi all through the lockdown period! We are grateful for the support and the time everyone dedicated to making these items.

NYU Naughty Knitters

The NYU Naughty Knitters is a volunteer knitting and crocheting group, which brings together administrators, students, and alumni from across NYU to create handmade items for local charities. The group continued their generosity and support over the pandemic inform of hats and blankets. We are very appreciative of your support.
