Coronavirus Mental Wellbeing Support Service

Beyond Blue NewAccess telehealth resource to respond to wellbeing concerns around COVID-19



When it comes to mental wellbeing, there are a number of support options available during the coronavirus pandemic.


Trained counsellors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on Beyond Blue’s dedicated coronavirus phone support line and online chat service.


They will provide counselling and useful information to help support mental health and wellbeing, based on specific needs.


All sessions are one-on-one and confidential.

If you are in an emergency, or at immediate risk of harm to yourself or others, please contact emergency services on 000.

The Beyond Blue online forums are a safe and informative space to chat with other members of the community. There is a dedicated discussion group ‘Coping during the Coronavirus Pandemic’ that is all about supporting and learning from each other during this challenging time.


Please be aware that our forums are community-led and not staffed by mental health professionals. To talk to someone one-on-one, please get in touch with the Support Service.
 



Speak with a NewAccess Coach


Developed by Beyond Blue, NewAccess is a free and confidential one-on-one coaching program.


It is designed for anyone who is feeling stressed, anxious or overwhelmed about everyday life issues, such as work, study, relationships, health or loneliness. The program offers up to six sessions using Low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy practices, and aims to help people break the cycle of negative or unhelpful thoughts and feelings.
