Torquay Chamber of Commerce are delighted to invite you to our ’Turning the Bay Green’ networking event on Friday 19th November at the Hampton by Hilton in Torwood Street from 12pm until 2pm.

The Bay’s Hospitality Green Leaders

The Hilton Hotel who are very kindly hosting the event and providing coffee and pastries are leading the local hospitality industry in turning the Bay green. The hotel is in the process of having solar panels installed on their roof which will power electric charging units providing efficient low cost charging for both staff and guests. The new hotel is a fantastic space to host such an important event for the Bay.

As well as informal networking and a chance to catch up The Chamber is supporting local business Edmundons Electrical, who will be presenting various solutions for how you can turn your business greener through the installation of E.V charging units.

A pivotal Moment

Our event coincides with the global COP26 climate conference which is a pivotal moment in the fight against climate change which is now a global priority. Now more than ever, we need to look at our impact on the environment and introduce measures across the Bay that supports that help tackle climate change.

Each of us has a part to play.

If you are serious about climate change, keen to learn more about turning the Bay green or discover how your business can benefit from electrical charging units you should attend this event and play your part.

We must work together to protect our planet and people and ensure a greener, more resilient future for Torbay.
