Affirmation of Baptism

Thanks to everyone who joined us this past Sunday to celebrate with four of our Gethsemane youth on their Affirmation of Baptism Day! The Rite of Confirmation gives control and responsibility of their faith journey fully to the Gethsemane youth. Having completed two years of study/participation in Gethsemane Lutheran confirmation ministry, these confirmands affirmed their baptism: Samuel Erik Aguilar Moreira, 10/21/2007; Logan Wade Fuller, 11/25/2007; Lyndon Loren Kite, 11/25/2007; and John Joseph Martinez, 12/24/2005. Confirmation mentors Erik Svenkerud, Wil Bassett, Tim Huston and Fred Valenzuela presented the confirmands. Congratulations parents, grandparents, and extended family for encouraging the Gethsemane Lutheran 2021 Confirmation Class to live their baptismal birthright.
