'Wrapping up for the holidays!
 
It has been quite a crazy, weird and unfamiliar year. Some of you may feel a relief that 2021 is nearly over, while others may still feel very uneasy about what 2022 will bring- both of which are normal feelings to have. It has been a juggling act for the health and fitness sector with tight regulations (like many businesses) with one-on-one personal training sessions, group fitness classes and recreational and sporting events on hold, cancelled and/or rescheduled. It's super hard, to try and keep encouraged, motivated and focused with your exercise when day to day routines keep changing. Well done to everyone that has managed to do 'just something' each week.

This time of year often feels overwhelming as it is, without added worldly pressures. 

It's a good time right now to remind yourself why exercise is beneficial at both a physical, mental & emotional level. Think back:

1. How does your head feel (clarity, thoughts etc.) after you have exercised ?
2. How does your body feel (muscles and joints etc.) after you have exercised?
3. How is your mood, energy and motivation levels after you have exercised?


 
 
Holidays are 2-4 / 52 weeks of your total year- Let that sink in!

We know that the key to getting great results is a healthy balance of approximately 80% nutrition and 20% exercise. so we have teamed up to create a Summer Series six week meal plan special, to complement the hard yards of your Silly Season exercise regime. Please note this meal plan package is the same version released in 2020- just at a reduced special rate for 2021! 

Using everyday ingredients with fast easy recipes, this package is a serious game changer when it comes to taking the 'thinking' and planning of how to eat well. Here's a wee run-down;

Included in this package;

  • 6 x Weekly itemized meal plans covering you from Breakfast - right through to snacks, lunches, dinners (and the occasional Dessert too) in a PDF format for you to save/print/laminate to keep forever!

  • Grocery Lists to cover each week

🦠💉 ANNOUNCEMENT 💉🦠


As you are probably all well aware “gyms” have been identified as a mandated businesses that require clients to hold a vaccine certificate to allow entry.

As of Friday the 3rd of December we now know we will be over in the new covid “traffic light system”. Once we flick over to this system it is imperative that ALL clients of cbPT can provide a vaccine certificate to allow participation.

This covers:

⭐️ One on one PT sessions
⭐️ Bootcamp classes (indoor and outdoor)
⭐️Over 60s

There will be no exception to this rule, unless you provide a valid medical exemption. Your instructor / trainer will need to scan your vaccine passport from Friday the 3rd just once. We will then note down when this expires manually, so we don’t have to scan each class or session .

We will be able to provide more information regarding protocols (mask wearing, number regulations, spacing) once we are advised what traffic colour the Southland region will be in. The same level 2 protocols should be expected to be followed in the gym / group fitness settings for now.

We understand that these new regulations may affect some clients’ abilities to attend the gym, see your trainer, or go to a group fitness class. We are sorry that this frameworks stops you from being able to do so, but it is out of our hands.
