Thanks to your generosity through the Tractor Supply Co. Paper Clover Campaign, a record amount was raised to support youth leadership programs! 4-H reaches and engages youth across urban, suburban and rural communities. We meet our youth where they are. If you are able, support South Carolina 4-H during #GivingTuesday. Help us as we continue to provide young people educational resources, caring adult mentors, and a sense of belonging as we have done for more than 100 years.
GivingTuesday is a global day of generosity that will take place on November 30, 2021. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past nine years, this idea has grown into a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. You can show your generosity in a variety of ways during GivingTuesday—whether it’s helping a neighbor, advocating for an issue, sharing a skill, or giving to causes—everyone has something to give and every act of generosity counts.
Grassroots generosity and community action are powerful forces for good, especially in turbulent times. When so much attention is given to what divides us, generosity brings people together. Even in times of economic uncertainty, we each have a deep reserve of generosity, which we can deploy in myriad ways to make a difference--your time, your kindness, your skills, your voice are all things you can give in addition to charitable donations.

Each month, this e-newsletter gives you a monthly activity idea that you can try with youth in your club/community. Special attention has been given to identifying activities that can be easily conducted on a budget, during a distance-learning or in-person 4-H club setting, and adaptable for multiple age groups. This month's activity comes from 4-H at Home and is entitled, "Ask an Elder: What did you eat growing up?". With time spent with family during the holidays, now is a perfect time to seek new information!
