I can't believe our last message was sent in June!  As expected we have been over the top busy.  We've managed to maintain the work load we have scheduled and have placed a priority on not overextending ourselves to effect our excellent customer service.  This burden has effected our communications though so for that I am deeply sorry.  We hope you have realized we are doing all the work the best we can and if you have questions you know you can reach out to us.

Lawns and shrubs did really well this year despite the excessive rain.  Lawns really do enjoy the rain, but at times it's been a bit much and then when the heat boils right up there as soon as the clouds dissipate diseases can run rampant.  We made steps to address the disease pressure and applied preventative measures for insects.  Fertilizer applications have been spot on- thank you Moe for doing a great job!

We've had some serious disease and insect scares and have been keeping an eye out for them.  Army worms are marching their way north and invasive jumping earthworms are invading our soils.  We  keep a steady eye on problems like this so you don't wake up one day to have a huge mess on your hands.  We've heard some of these things come here via hurricanes as well as birds and who knows what else.  If you knew all the calamities we are moments away from you'd take up drinking. (or drink more lol)   Anyway, the point is if you are on a full lawn program or gardener service we are keeping a eye on things so you don't have to.  We've done everything we can to make sure your lawn and landscape looks the best it can be.  I'm really proud of how well things have gone this year despite the challenges we had.

As we head towards the cooler months we attempt to complete all our projects we've lined up and find warmer tasks for our people to do indoors when weather is ugly.  We've taught our guys on the finer points of painting and rehab work and are really proud of our projects.  We've flipped almost a dozen houses and completed some master suites in the winter.  The list of tasks we've done have been extensive and I'm happy to say we've mastered almost everything.  We started a Facebook page - Woods Renovations - if you want to check it out.  Join the page and you'll see when we add new projects.  We're behind with this as with all our computer work as you would expect but at least you now have a better idea of what we do in the winter.

So far this winter looks a little different.  We're hoping for warm weather because we still have some major landscaping projects to do.   Should we get lousy weather we are still searching for some good indoor projects as the housing market is off the charts ridiculous and we haven't found a property we can purchase to add value to.  Stay tuned as this too can change at any moment.  Let us know if you have any questions or have any topics you would like discussed.
