Bless every precious hand who stirs soup, fries pies, and sells treasures on Saturday,
May their faithfulness be met with your abounding grace,
Grace in smooth, stress-free hours at work,
Grace in an overflow of neighbors entering our doors,
Grace in financial income to further your Gospel,
Grace in opportunities to show love to everyone we encounter,
Above all, Grace in your Holy Spirit surrounding us and sustaining us throughout the day.

All Saints Sunday, Nov 7
On November 7th, we will celebrate all the saints of our church family who have passed away in the last year. We hope you can be present for this special Sunday morning communion service.
Daylight Savings Ends, Nov 7
On November 7th, we gain an hour of sleep so you can come to worship extra rested.
Raise the Roof…OVER halfway there!
Because of your extravagant generosity, we are now over the halfway point in our fundraising for our roof. As a reminder, you can make checks payable to the church with memo, “Roof replacement”’.
Charge Conference, Nov 7
In the United Methodist Church, the charge conference meets at least once a year and is responsible for recommending candidates for holy orders, establishing salaries for the pastor and staff, and evaluating the ministry of that parish church. This year, The Central District will have five virtual Charge Conferences this year. Group 3, which you will be a part, will meet Sunday, November 7 at 3:00 p.m. via Zoom. All are invited to participate. Zoom info below:
Join us for our annual Thanksgiving Potluck on Sun., Nov. 21 immediately after the 10:30 worship service. The church will furnish the turkey & dressing, rolls, and tea. Everyone, please bring at least two of your favorite covered dishes as we give thanks for all the Lord has done in our church.
Give Thanks by Giving
We are collecting canned goods (vegetables, fruit, meat, etc.) & non-perishable items (pasta, rice, noodles, etc.) for our Blessing Box (coming soon) and Urban Ministry. Bring your donations to the collection boxes in the FLC Fellowship Hall and outside the church office by November 21.
Grief Support Group Meets Nov 21
Following our Thanksgiving Potluck, anyone whose experienced grief is invited to stay after comfort our newly formed grief support group, led by Rev Herb Williamson.
Community Thanksgiving Service, Nov 21 5 PM
Every pastor in Pleasant Grove has banned together to host our annual Community Thanksgiving service. Come for a combined choir, scripture reading, and a special sermon from Pastor Matt. Located at First Baptist.

Pastor Matt is looking to borrow a C-PAP machine while his new C-PAP comes in (supply chain issues). If you have one you are not currently using, let him know.

Need help getting your Covid-19 booster shot? Pastor Matt is more than willing to help you get your appointment made online. It’s really easy to do!
