NEW LOOK FOR LIBRARY
Orinda Library is headed for a fresh look next spring. The Friends of the Orinda Library has commissioned Ink Dwell Studio to create a mural that reflects Orinda's unique ecosystem, and recently, the Orinda City Council accepted the proposed mural as donated art.
The FOL Board has made a substantial contribution, and we are looking to involve the community in our fundraising efforts. At this time, donations are most easily received by mail at Friends of the Orinda Library, P.O. Box 152, Orinda, CA, 94563. Please note "mural" in subject line.

ADDED BOOKSHOP HOURS
Do you wish the Friends' Bookshop opened earlier on Saturdays? Would you like to combine a trip to the Farmer's Market with one to the bookshop? Here's your chance to vote with your wallet.
During the last three Saturdays in November and the first Saturday of December, the bookshop will open at 10am – three hours earlier than usual. If enough customers stop by during morning hours, we will keep opening early on Saturdays. Stop by Nov. 13, 20, or 27, or Dec. 4 during the holiday book sale to support this pilot program.
