Last weekend, an earthquake struck Bali, causing great damage. People are standing in the ruins of their former homes, not able to provide for themselves or their animals. It is a heartbreaking sight. But we were ready to help!
Our Project Dharma team, together with our partners Bali Animal Welfare Association jumped into action, helping local people and checking for animals who might be buried under the rubble.
Food and much-needed items such as tarps, cooler boxes, and medications are now being distributed to the disaster areas of Mount Agung and Mount Abang. The main focusat the moment is to create temporary shelters and provide water to those in the villages hardest hit by the earthquake.
Already devastated by COVID-19, a volcano eruption, and this earthquake, ongoing rainfall is creating even more havoc with landslides still happening every day at Karangasem Regency.
Countless animals have been displaced or separated from their families and are totally reliant on us for food, water, and medical treatment.
Please consider donating today to help support our emergency mission in Bali.
Thank you for your care and supporting our work to build a kinder world for animals.
This project highlights one of the many FOUR PAWS activities which help animals around the world. It shows the difference that we can make for animals together. Donations are used where they are needed most to help protect animals globally.
