Winter in His Word

This week we start a new edition of our church reading plan! You can grab a hard copy at the church building or check it out at our website here. 

This will be a little different than previous reading plans. Our weekly readings won't be directly based on our sermon passages. However, we do hope they help orient our hearts and minds around what we will be studying in November and December. First, we'll read of God's heart for the mission of his Church. Then, during the Advent season, we'll focus on the person of Jesus. Dive in with us!

Missions Weekend

    November 5th - 7th

Get ready for a weekend of seeking God in the Great Commission! There will be a worship and prayer night on the 5th, classes and lunch on the 6th with Don Stubbs speaking that evening and Sunday morning.  This weekend is designed to grow us as believers to better equip us to reach the lost; both in our community, state and beyond! There will also be missions emphasis teaching on youth and kids nights!

Childcare will be provided for the November 6th events! 

Youth & Parent Scavenger Hunt

    November 14th    |    6-8 pm

Come join the Youth Group for a fun-filled night with parents! Dinner will be provided. Expect to drive around town.

Operation Christmas Child

It’s almost shoebox packing time! We are hoping and planning to have a packing party together on Nov. 13th, but in the mean time, we could really use your donations!

We are looking for small toys, personal care items, clothing, and school supplies that can fit in a shoebox! Click here to get full list of accepted items. They can be left in the collection bin in the church entryway.

 We are also in need of donations to go towards shipping. Each box costs about $9 to ship. You can designate financial donations for Operation Christmas Child in Breeze! Thank you!

Marriage Weekend
    

November 19th & 20th                    

Are you looking for an opportunity to deepen your marriage by centering it on God's Word? Join us Friday 11/19 from 6:30-8:30 pm and Saturday 11/20 from 9 am-12 pm for a series of discussions on the rhythms of a gospel-centered marriage.

Nicaragua Missions Trip Meeting
    

November 21st After Second Service

Join Chuck Cook on November 21st after 2nd service (12:15pm) for an informational meeting about the upcoming Mission Trip to Nicaragua.
Food will be provided.
 
The dates for the trip are February 12th - 19th, 2022. Cost is $575 plus airfare.

Safe Families Prayer Meetings

    Starting September 6th

Join us every first Monday of the month for an update and time of prayer for Safe Families. Safe Families is an organization that our church partners with that works to come alongside families in our community in times of desperation in order to keep children safe and families intact.

Ladies Paint and Sip
    

December 11th      |      5 pm      |      Youth Center         

Come join us on a cold winter day to drink cocoa, tea, and cider and eat delicious Christmas cookies while following along to a guided painting lesson. We have an incredible artist coming to guide you through painting based on the theme of "Growing" but going off script is encouraged! Ladies from all walks of life coming together to create art is an incredible thing. All materials are provided. Feel free to bring a snack to share. Join us for this month's ladies event hosted in the Youth Center.
