Dear Thaxted yogis,

How lovely it has been to see so many of you returning to practice with us in our fabulous studio, and to welcome so many new faces, too. 

As the days shorten and the weather turns, we’d like to advise you of some schedule changes and some exciting workshops to help get us through the hibernation months ahead.

Classes & Christmas Schedule

Our class schedule throughout November and the majority of December will remain unchanged, with the exception that Gemma’s Monday night class will commence at 6:15pm from 15 November for four weeks only. This is to accommodate our (sold out) November beginners course.

If you missed out or are interested in attending one of these courses, we are looking at options for the new year so please register your interest by emailing Danny at info@thaxtedyoga.co.uk.

The new Friday class with Gemma has been very well received. Please note there is no class on 5 November and 3 December due to a prior studio commitment. 

There are some slight changes to our schedule over the Christmas weeks.

Magali is hoping to return to her regular Thursday evening slot at the end of November. We can’t wait to see her back teaching in the studio and in the meantime send her and little Isla lots of yogi love. 

New classes also being considered for the New Year include an additional Sunday evening stretch and restorative class at 5:30pm and a Chair Yoga weekly morning session. If these are of interest, please let us know.

Robyn Silverton Workshops

There are limited places available on this Saturday’s 'The Calm Choice' workshop with Robyn which will focus on alleviating stress and promoting a calm mindset through movement, meditation and mindful practice. 

Robyn is also hosting a Yin Yoga workshop on 11 December which is almost sold out. Be quick to secure the last spaces.

Gong Bath on 3 December


We will be holding our next extremely popular Gong Bath on 3 December.

Last Friday’s event was completely sold out with several names on the waitlist, so if you wish to attend, please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Winter Solstice Workshop

Join us on Sunday 19 December to celebrate the shortest day with a seasonal workshop hosted by Lolli and Jo, where we’ll focus on mindful movement and calming techniques to help us through the busiest time of year.

This will be followed by nibbles and mulled wine in our cosy snug.

We are now able to offer gift vouchers for use towards the cost of classes, passes or workshops booked with us.

They make a great gift for family, friends or colleagues to use at Thaxted Yoga.

Parking

Parking in the yard is very limited during daytime hours (evenings and weekends are not usually restricted) and we only have eight official parking spaces which are clearly marked. Our weekday morning classes are becoming particularly busy. 

If you arrive for a class and there are no official spaces available, please park either down by the caravans or behind/ across another yoga car. Please don’t park in any space which is marked for another business.

If you’re not sure where to park, please check with the class teacher - we don’t wish to upset any of our neighbours. 

We are working on a little diagram that we will add to the website as soon as possible.
 

Lolli


Lolli has to undergo some medical procedures over the next couple of weeks so will be unable to teach a few of her classes.

Cover for these has been arranged and will be communicated on our social media and the WhatsApp group - please ask Danny if you wish to be added.

We wish Lolli lots of love and strength.
