Candidate biographical information for each position is listed below.

Rick Mossman, candidate for Board President Elect
I am a retired National Park ranger. Currently I am the director of the National Park Service Accredited Park Ranger Law Enforcement Academy at Skagit Valley College, Mount Vernon, Wash. Previously, I was the director of the Academy in Rangely, Colo. I started my park service career at Buffalo River in Arkansas as a campground fee collector, then working as an interpreter at Petrified Forest National Park and Ford’s Theatre NHS.
I worked as a visitor and resource protection ranger at Bandelier NM, Grand Canyon NP, Wrangell St. Elias NP, Glacier Bay NP, Yellowstone NP, and chief ranger at Wind Cave National Park and acting superintendent at Fort Laramie NHS. I have visited 402 NPS units.
I have been a member of ANPR since 1981 and am currently a life member. I was on the ANPR board of directors as the Alaska representative from 1992-1995 and was the program director for the 2004 Rendezvous in Rapid City, S.D. I was a program speaker at the first IRF conference in Zakopane, Poland.
I have been a volunteer for library boards, local water boards, youth recreation coaching and refereeing. I have testified in front of city, county and state boards and legislators on various issues and have lobbied in Congress on environmental issues as a private citizen.
I look forward to serving this organization and its members to better provide influence on the needs of National Park Service employees and to provide a voice on national park issues from the people on the ground who understand the issues.

Shannon Wilson, candidate for Board Member for Membership Services
I served in the interpretation/education fields from 2012-2016. I moved into the free world in 2016-May 2020 when I medically retired from NPS.
I am running for the position of Membership Services because I am in the unique position of being young enough to have been recently on the front lines, and now being retired, I can see things from two very different perspectives. I feel that in the Membership Services roll  it is important to not only be relatable to the members who are currently serving in our amazing parks, but also to those members who have already served and are now retired, yet still have a lot of important insight to offer.

Candidate for Board Member for Fundraising
No nominees were received, but you can "write-in" your choice.
