There are 24 artworks by Xcopy in The Vault collection; some of them date back to 2018. The iconic style, inimitable, fun, enthralling, colorful, flashing, and in eternal motion, is the aesthetic that Xcopy chose to present artworks that are death-themed and dystopia-themed. Xcopy's works are a commentary on society and life in a very ironic and satirical way that will forever be recognizable at first sight.
The art of Xcopy is thorny, inconvenient. But it's hypnotizing, and you can't stop looking at it while your eyes are getting painful. It's almost like the constant movement of the works is meant to make you feel uncomfortable, so now you are forced to stop and think about what you are seeing.
The punk spirit of contrasting everyday problems through a very invasive art practice that almost makes you forget about them; the search of the "error" and the imperfection as a metaphor of the unexpected in life; the "malfunction" of the visual makes his/her/their art to be like an addiction.
