You are Invited!

We hope you are enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday and time spent with family and friends around the table. Each year we set a theme to help guide our lessons, thoughts and focus for the semester. This year our theme is Invited. The idea is that we have all been invited to the Master's table. Likewise, we are called to be inviting others to join us at the table. There is a seat open for everyone. If you would like to know more about our theme, check out Amy's introductory lesson (sermon begins around 39:00). We love the idea of inviting students to sit at the table with Jesus, the concept of inviting our church members to partner with us to reach college students, and the beauty of being able to invite you, our friends, family, alumni, and financial supporters to join us in this mission to bring college students closer to God.
As we come to the close of the year, many of us will evaluate our last year and set goals, words, or resolutions for the coming year. As you are exploring what will guide your next year, remember that you have been invited! We would like to encourage you to consider an invitation for you to partner with us in the coming year.
What does it look like to join us?
There are many ways to partner in this mission:
1) Prayer - We firmly believe in the power of prayer. We would love to have all of you lifting our ministry, our students, our faculty, our University, and our mission in prayer.
2) Become a donor - We are hoping to add 20 new individual monthly donors to our ministry before the end of the year. Donors who give regularly help us better budget our funds so we can better plan for the ministry. Even $20 a month makes a difference in our ministry. Beyond salaries, donations help provide scholarships for student events, bring in speakers for retreats, and provide opportunities for students to encounter Jesus. If you want to be a new monthly donor, please reach out.
3) Engage - We have a weekly worship service on campus; come and join us! We also have opportunities throughout the year to host our students for events and meals. Provide a meal for our leadership meetings or a snack for our weekly Bible study, Encounter. The beauty of supporting a local ministry is the chance to get to know the students we serve in a concrete way.
In this season we are so thankful for the many friends, alumni, and family who support our ministry and have joined us at the table. We look forward to sharing with you more about our work here in Tucson.
In Him,
Amy and Jessica
