The NHS, schools, and social care in the four nations of the UK: how do they compare?

Devolution afforded Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland the opportunity to manage public services differently from the approach taken in England. The devolved governments have now had control of services for over twenty years, during which time they have made many different choices. Devolved Public Services: The NHS, schools, and social care in the four nations uses publicly available data to examine the how much the four nations spend on the NHS, schools, and adult social care and how well they are performing. This presentation will present the key findings and implications for policy, data collection, and comparison.
