Webinar: managing COVID-19 in the community, 7-8pm TONIGHT

The following message comes from the Ministry of Health:

Below you will find communications regarding the publication of the COVID-19 Community Health Pathways to support clinical care of COVID-19 positive patients and their households in community settings. You will also find the first of a series of educational webinars to support the clinical workforce. This first webinar will be targeted towards general practice teams.

We are continuing to work at pace to implement the enablers to support the COVID-19 Primary Care Clinical Model. This includes development of a pharmacy services model to support COVID-19 care in the community, sourcing pulse oximeters, working on digital IT integration solutions, integrating pathways with public health, secondary care and community care, and ensuring funding will be in place to reflect the risk stratification and package of care for the COVID-19 Primary Care Clinical Model .
 
Please note: If you have not already registered with Health Pathways you will need to register. Click on the link in the letter above, select your DHB, then register through ‘Register now’ (on the right of the page).

 

Future of Health information sessions - North Island

The following message comes from the Health Reforms Transition Unit:

The registration links for the next set of North Island Future of Health information sessions are now live.
 
These sessions are particularly designed for those who haven’t yet had a chance to catch up on the Health Reforms or the detail of the related reform work programme.

The sessions will provide an overview of the reforms, the key initiatives currently underway and those that are coming up, as well as how you can stay informed about further opportunities to get involved.
 
The registration links for the next seven events are below. We will provide a further email with the links for the remaining dates as soon as possible.
