We are delighted to see our libraries coming back to life! All but one of our 44 branches have re-opened and we very much look forward to welcoming you back into our buildings. We highlight a return to regular events, our online music services and our latest 'Listen Now' eAudio books.
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands!
Rhyme times are now taking place in many of our branches.
These include Benson, Eynsham, Grove, Blackbird Leys, Cowley, Chipping Norton, Witney, Henley, Oxfordshire County, Berinsfield, Bicester, Banbury, Headington, Kidlington and Chinnor.
Please contact your local library directly for more information about local provision. At larger libraries rhyme times are hugely popular and booking in advance is essential. Unfortunately, drop-ins cannot be guaranteed entry.

Regular events in our branches
So much to report.  Witney has restarted adult craft and digital help sessions. Henley is running Russian story times for children. Carterton is running weekly gadget help sessions.  Book clubs have restarted in Blackbird Leys and Cowley. Woodcote is running art and craft sessions. Chinnor is running story times and Goring has Stay and Play sessions. Author events have been running in some branches with more planned; why not ask staff at Henley to tell you about their next author visit?

This is just a small snapshot of the events and activities going on in our branches currently - please contact your local branch directly for more details on all these activities and to see what else is going on in your area.

Makerspace over Half-term
Meanwhile, in the Makerspace at Oxfordshire County Library this half-term, The Drone Rules ran a drone building, coding and flying workshop. Library staff held sessions involving 3D modelling (see model below made by one of our young attendees), board games and a Teen Virtual Reality (VR) workshop. Regular Code Clubs and storytimes with crafts are happening again with a beginners' knitting club starting soon. Look out for more VR and drone workshops in the future.
Language cafes
All are welcome at our Language Cafés, to meet others & share languages.
Join us online or join a session at Oxfordshire County (NEW!), Abingdon or Summertown libraries. Woodgreen relaunches in December with more branches in the pipeline, watch this space!
