Lucy's Meadow Conservation staff have been working in Lucy's Meadow, located in the lowland of Hartman. The prairie was revitalized through the removal of brush and undesirable trees, and a prescribed burn was performed. Most recently the prairie was reseeded. Look for more changes next year!

2nd Sunday Speaker Series: The Polar Express Sunday, December 12, 2-3:00 PM in the Hartman Interpretive Center Community Room. The young and the young at heart will enjoy this magical holiday classic brought to life through a readers theater performance by the Cedar River Readers. Special appearance by Santa after the performance! No cost to attend, but limited seating means you MUST REGISTER at BlackHawkCountyParks.com under the Events menu.
