Herewegohoney is a lovely mare, with a super temperament, who we all instantly took to at the sale in Newmarket where we purchased her. As you can see, she really is a fine specimen of a horse and one who we're very pleased to have on side. She won her sole P2P in seriously impressive fashion, which you can watch below. She is by Sageburg, who was top-class over 9-10f for his owner The Aga Khan, including in the Group 1 Prix d'Ispahan and is from the family of Arc winner Sagamix. His progeny include Grade 1 performers Rouge Vif and Ch'tibello.
She will be our very first runner for leading trainer Fergal O'Brien and has been chalked up as the market leader for the race. Fergal is delighted with how she has settled into life at Ravenswell Farm and believes she will give her owners plenty of fun for several seasons to come. We can't wait to see her line up for us tomorrow!
