A Letter from our Pastor...

Greetings KKCLA FAMILY!

It’s only been a week since we have all been together but it feels so much longer! I miss you all dearly when we are apart for more than a week! I know those of you that were able to join us at the Increase Event had a great time growing and playing as a family and it was great having so many of you with us at this life changing event! I hope you all can join us next year.
Speaking of next year, can you believe 2022 is only TWO MONTHS AWAY??
It’s wild how quickly this year has flown by.
As most of you know we are once again in the hunt for a new venue. While we have enjoyed our time at Expression58 we know that it is also time that we begin to have Sunday services again.
We are continuing the search in the Glendale, Burbank and Pasadena areas and are open to suggestions. While we are looking for a “venue”, we aren’t just looking for another “space”, we are looking for a place for KKCLA to call home. A place you can COME HOME to!
In the meantime we have an exciting line up of activities for us to continue to gather together in person, while we continue our Sunday morning services online.
Please see below for the exciting things we have planned.
Keeping with our previously established schedule, the first weekend of the month will be Dinner and Discussion, the 2nd will be KKCLA Night @ the Movies and the 3rd will be an in person corporate Thanksgiving worship service @ Expression58.
We encourage you during this time to meet together as community groups so that we can continue to grow in faith and discipleship. If you haven’t found the right community group for you yet, this might be a good time for you to start one!
We know our very steps are mapped out already in the heavenlies and we covet your prayers during this time while we seek to follow each step as God has ordained for KKCLA!

We enjoy a time of worshipping together with the worship team from King of Kings Community Jerusalem & then receive a powerful message from Pastor Jeni.

Dinner & Discussion at Smitty's Grill

Invite some friends & join us at Smitty's Grill on Sunday, November 7th at 5 PM for November's Dinner & Discussion!
We have the Grill Room reserved for our group & KKCLA will be covering the appetizers. Everyone is responsible for their own meal & whatever beverage they would like.

KKCLA Night @ the Movies

Journey with Jesus

Experience the Holy Land like never before. Join Dr. Tony Evans and his daughters, Chrystal Evans Hurst and Priscilla Shirer, as they retrace the steps that changed the world in JOURNEY WITH JESUS.

KKCLA is excited to watch this incredible film experience together. In order to obtain a group rate / private screening we need to purchase a certain amount of tickets, so we would like to know how many of you would interested in attending a screening of this on Tuesday, November 16th @ 7 PM. The screening will be at the Burbank 16 Theater and tickets will be approximately $17 per person.

If you are INTERESTED in attending please RSVP below and you will receive a separate link to pay for your tickets.

We are gathering together on Sunday, November 21st to celebrate & give thanks to God for who He is & for all He has done & is going to do! This is going to be an evening full of praise and thanksgiving (as well as GOOD FOOD!) We will be meeting at:

Immediately following the service, we will be sharing a FRIENDSGIVING meal together! So invite your friends & family to join us, especially families in need & those who do not have family in the area to celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday with! We will also be giving away groceries, with all of the fixings for a Thanksgiving Dinner, to families who could use a little extra help this season.

A sign up sheet for what you are going to bring for the Friendsgiving Meal will be coming soon & if you would like to donate towards the Thanksgiving Grocery Baskets scan the QR Code below (@JeniStivaleKKCLA) & label your donation 'Thanksgiving Dinner Baskets'.
