Fossil Fuel Divest Harvard

Action on November 12

Earlier this semester, we won a massive victory when we successfully pushed Harvard to commit to divest its $53 billion endowment from the fossil fuel industry. But even as it has pledged to divest, Harvard continues to let the fossil fuel industry play a significant role on campus, from funding research to maintaining ties to the administration. Plus, Harvard has yet to commit to divest from other parts of the extractive economy, including the prison industrial complex. That puts our communities, our planet, and all of our futures at risk.

JOIN US ON FRIDAY, NOV. 12TH AT 11:20 AM to call on Harvard to kick fossil fuel and prison money off campus. We will meet then at Boylston Hall in Harvard Yard. Be ready to move locations and bring a mask, plus friends!

RSVP Here

We will call on Harvard and higher education more broadly to put us -- its community members -- over profit by disclosing and severing ties to the extractive fossil fuel and prison industries, as well as reinvesting in a just regenerative economy that can support our futures.

We encourage you to join us for action information sessions beforehand, which will be on Monday, November 8th and Tuesday, November 9th from 7-8pm, location TBA. RSVP here

The action will be on Friday, November 12th. We’ll be starting at 11:20am ET at Boylston Hall in the Yard and continuing until 1:30pm. Be ready to move and wear a mask.
