is appreciating all GSA teachers for the dedication and sacrifice they give to our students and school daily. Teachers will be awarded monthly and given a small token of appreciation from the PTO efforts. Look out for the next announcement for Teachers of the month!

Teachers observations were held this month. Each teacher was observed by the Principal and School Coordinator to make sure the curriculum is being followed. Notes are also taken of individual teaching habits as well as observing the students engagement. After the observation, feedback is given for any improvement and/or kudos!

PSAT/NMSQT exams were administered on Wednesday, October 13th 2021 for our 9th and 10th graders. The Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) measures what they're learning in school, determine if they're on track, and open doors for opportunities to prepare and pay for college. GSA administers the exam annualy.

If you or your child(ren) have been in close contact with anyone that has tested positive for COVID-19 or are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms AND you or your child have been on GSA's campus after being exposed, PLEASE notify the school nurse at sheila@assahaba.org or any one of our administrators so that appropriate action can be taken to ensure the safety and well-being of the entire GSA community and their family members. Chick 'n Chop on the Grill

Chick 'n Chop on the Grill Restaurant has partnered with the PTO for an ongoing after school fundraiser starting in the month of November! When placing your meal order please mention Garden of the Sahaba Academy. Chick 'n Chop is owned by a parent of GSA and they will donate 25% of your meal purchase to the PTO. This is valid for dine-in or take out orders. All proceeds from this fundraiser goes towards purchasing medals and trophies for the Spelling Bees, Science Fair and End of the Year Academic Awards!
