Nautor’s Swan crowned its winners across the four classes of the Swan One Design Worlds after a week characterised by challenging conditions. The triumphant owners and crews have the right to consider themselves the best in the world after battling to the top of the leader board in St Tropez.

Rolex Middle Sea Race
23-30 October, Malta
The 42nd edition of Rolex Middle Sea Race saw the participation of eight Swan yachts, among them the recently launched ClubSwan 125 Skorpios which competed in ORC.
The Swan 55 Yawl Lulotte, skippered by Ben Morris, defying the fierce conditions at this years' Rolex Middle Sea Race, gaining the best-placed Swan award (25th in IRC scoring).

ClubSwan 36 ACI Cup
27 - 30 October, Rovinj (CRO)
The first regatta in Croatia with the ClubSwan racing signature took place at the five-anchor ACI Marina Rovinj. Organized by ACI d.d. and ACI Sail with the support of ClubSwan Racing. The event saw the attendance of six ClubSwan 36s and crews from all over Europe.
The waters of Rovinj offered amazing sheltered conditions with a stunning scenario.
The ClubSwan 36 Tracing Perfection with helmsman Daniel Kipp won the first-ever ClubSwan Racing regatta in Croatia and lifted the ClubSwan 36 ACI Cup

Thank you, Cartouche – the great story of a Swan 51 told by a proud owner
“I’m going to tell you the story of a whirlwind romance between a forgotten boat with a glorious past and a skipper with the sea and the wind in the blood.
In the past, the skipper had a Swan 37 by Sparkman Stephens. This boat had become a little too tight for the new destinations, even though after about ten years of adventures, it had risen to new splendor as many admirers claimed in every port or bay they visited.
The Skipper had long sought a boat to live onboard during long cruises with his crew Anna, Loredana and other friends.
In the end, he found Cartouche, a fantastic old Swan 51, (1982) to navigate in all weather conditions, either cruising or racing in regattas, while sharing with crew and friends the sensations experienced, comfortably seated in a cozy dinette, inspired by the aromas of good food prepared by the mate, Loredana, wrapped in the warm colors of the woods from the Finnish forests that the Nautor shipyard used very well to amuse their eyes.
The boat was found moored, after exciting seasons of racing, in the port of Punta Ala near the famous Dida, another jewel of Germán Frers of the 80’s/90’s.

Summer season has now drawn to a close and most of our yachts are already back in their respective home ports. Preparation for winter scope of works depends on the plans of the boats, some are getting ready for the Caribbean while others are just carrying out routine maintenance and refit projects in readiness for their long-desired summer 2022! Swan 115-003 is back
Under new ownership, a long-standing customer of Nautor’s Swan Global Service, Swan 115-003 has been sailing in the Ibiza Joy Sail last weekend. Thanks to a big effort from the crew and the team at Nautor’s Swan Global Service Badalona Yard, which allowed the yacht to be fully ready at the starting line and also to take victory. Congratulations! Swan 115-003 MOAT will be an active player next racing season and she will be again completely prepared and maintained at Badalona yard facilities.

NSGS starts the week with this interesting spare parts project; check the manufacturing process of a new rudder for Swan 77-001, that was sent to the east coast of the USA, in Annapolis! The main objective of this department is to locate and ship any spare part that Swans may need wherever they are in the World!

Valdettaro 112' Ree Mast Unstep
We started last month with the mast un-step operation of our associate yard Valdettaro’s 112 foot sloop ‘Ree’. She has been based at NSGS Badalona facilities for six years, and we are pleased of have her part of our family. This time, we had to un-step the mast, so she can have the rig fully serviced and also to carry out maintenance works on the mast.

Swan 68-008 Scaramouche Winter Refit
Swan 68-008 Scaramouche is going to spend the first part of this winter in NSGS Badalona facilities to carry out a significant refit. the comprehensive list of works involve different departments.
first, our in-house rigging team has un-stepped the mast and prepared it to be painted. Next steps after hauling her out of the water are going to be: seacocks renewal, hull osmosis treatment and superstructure and water lines paint jobs.
