Αμέσως μόλις έφτασαν στην AOPA Hellas οι πληροφορίες για τη μελλοντική παραχώρηση σε ιδιώτη επενδυτή 23 ελληνικών περιφερειακών αεροδρομίων, ο Πρόεδρος και το ΔΣ αποφάσισαν την αποστολή επιστολής στον Πρωθυπουργό, Κυριάκο Μητσοτάκη και την κοινοποίηση της στους αρμόδιους Υπουργούς, με την οποία η AOPA Hellas ζητά να ληφθούν υπόψη οι ανάγκες της Γενικής Αεροπορίας.

Η AOPA Hellas ενημέρωσε με επιστολή τον κ. Μαραγκάκη, COO της Fraport Greece σχετικά με τα πολυάριθμα παράπονα που λαμβάνει καθημερινά από τα μέλη της στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό, σχετικά με το υψηλό κόστος, τα τέλη και τις πρακτικές που εφαρμόζονται στα ελληνικά αεροδρόμια που διαχειρίζεται η Fraport.

- Πρόταση για Fly In στην Έδεσσα
10 – 12 Δεκεμβρίου 2021
Η AOPA Hellas σχεδιάζει αεροπορική συνάντηση στο αεροδρόμιο της Παναγίτσας Έδεσσας (πεδίο προσγείωσης με καινούργια άσφαλτο) που διαχειρίζεται η ομώνυμη αερολέσχη. Καιρού επιτρέποντος, η συνάντηση προγραμματίζεται την Παρασκευή 10 με Κυριακή 12 Δεκεμβρίου, με προτίμηση στο κατάλυμα / ξενοδοχείο που βρίσκεται δίπλα από τον διάδρομο προσγείωσης. Το προτεινόμενο μέρος είναι ένα από τα ωραιότερα φυσικά τοπία της Ελλάδας, όντας δίπλα στον παλαιό Άγιο Αθανάσιο, στο Καϊμακτσαλάν και στη λίμνη Βεγορίτιδα. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι παρακαλούνται να στείλουν e-mail στο office@aopa.gr αναγράφοντας μόνο το όνομα τους και το νηολόγιο του αεροσκάφους με το οποίο θα συμμετάσχουν. Περισσότερες λεπτομέρειες θα ανακοινωθούν εν καιρώ.
- Ανοιχτό το αεροδρόμιο της Σύρου τα Σάββατα
Μετά από την πίεση που άσκησαν η AOPA Hellas και η Πανελλήνια Ένωση Πιλότων και τις σχετικές επιστολές που κοινοποίησαν σε όλους τους αρμόδιους φορείς, το αεροδρόμιο της Σύρου θα είναι πλέον ανοιχτό όλα τα Σάββατα του χρόνου, εξυπηρετώντας τις ανάγκες της Γενικής Αεροπορίας.
H AOPA Hellas, προσπαθεί και αγωνίζεται με σκοπό να ξεπεραστούν τα εμπόδια που έχουν οδηγήσει την Γενική Αεροπορία στην χώρα μας να κατέχει μία από τις τελευταίες θέσεις στην Ευρώπη. Κανείς δεν περισσεύει σε αυτή την προσπάθεια. Αν δεν είσαι ταμειακά ενήμερο μέλος, σε καλούμε να ξαναγίνεις ενεργό μέλος μας γιατί έτσι βοηθάς κι εσύ την προσπάθεια μας. Όσο περισσότεροι είμαστε, τόσο πιο δυνατή είναι η φωνή μας.

As soon as the information about the future concession of 23 Greek regional airports reached AOPA Hellas, President and the Board of Directors send a letter to the Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the competent Ministers, requesting that General Aviation needs are taken into consideration before any agreement.

- Proposal for a Fly In in Edessa
December 10 – 12, 2021
AOPA Hellas is planning a Fly In at the airport of Edessa “Panagitsa” (airfield with a new tarmac), managed by the Airclub of Panagitsa. Weather permitting, the meeting is scheduled for Friday 10th to Sunday 12th of December. Suggested hotel is the one next to the runway. Panagitsa is one of the most beautiful places in Greece, offering a unique landscape, located next to the old village of Agios Athanasios, Kaimaktsalan Mountain and Lake Vegoritida. Those interested, are kindly requested to send an e-mail to office@aopa.gr stating only their name and the register of the aircraft they will participate with. More details will be available soon.
- Syros airport open on Saturdays
After the pressure exercised by AOPA Hellas and Hellenic Pilots Association and the letters send to all competent bodies, Syros airport will now be open all Saturdays of the year, serving the needs of General Aviation.
AOPA Hellas is fighting in order to overcome the obstacles that have led General Aviation in our country to hold one of the last positions in Europe. No one is spared in this endeavor. If you are not a financially aware member, we invite you to become an active member again so that you also help our effort. The more of us there are, the louder our voice is.
