Andrews Myers Recognized on National & Regional Scale
HOUSTON, TX (November 4, 2021) -- Andrews Myers has been recognized on both a national and regional scale in the 2022 Edition of U.S. News & World Report – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” for professional excellence.
The Construction Law and Construction Litigation practice groups ranked both nationally and within the Houston and Austin markets, while the Commercial Litigation, Corporate, Real Estate and Bankruptcy and Creditors Rights practice groups were rated for the Houston region. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must first have a lawyer recognized in The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top 5% of private practicing lawyers in the United States. Seventeen attorneys at Andrews Myers were ranked by Best Lawyers earlier this year, including five in the “Ones to Watch” category. Achieving a tiered ranking signals a unique combination of quality law practice and breadth of legal expertise.
The 2022 rankings honor firms recognized for professional excellence measured by their persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. Almost 16,000 lawyers provided more than 1,229,000 law firm assessments, and more than 12,000 clients participated providing 110,000 evaluations. Ranked firms are presented in three tiers, and awards were given in 75 national practice areas and 127 metropolitan practice areas.
Andrews Myers will be featured in the physical edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers “Best Law Firms,” which will be distributed to more than 30,000 in-house counsel.
Andrews Myers Named Number 1 Best Place to Work in Houston
Today, at a "Team Spirit" themed luncheon hosted by the Houston Business Journal, Houston companies learned where they rank as the best places to work in the city. Andrews Myers was at the top of the list of mid-size companies with 50 to 99 employees for the third year in a row. This year coming in again at Number 1! The annual list recognizes companies headquartered in the Houston area that demonstrate a positive company culture and employee appreciation.
There were over 100 companies honored today, ranked in order of scores based on employee engagement, benefits, corporate culture and amenities, among other criteria.
