End of Season SALE - time to renew ready for 2022

We are ever so grateful to you, our loyal community who have continued to support us into our 11th year in business.
This year our 2020 Vision and one-of-a-kindness mission focused on the power of one. And each and every one of you have lived this vision, by being a part of contributing to creating change.
Each time you connect with us, you are supporting and investing in our dream to grow a Made with Kindness Economy.

As the end of season is upon us, and the stormy season begins in our beloved tropical north, we have been taking time to reflect as team. Our workers and our Women's Business Circle group in Darwin are engaging in sessions with Liz, from EMG Psychology - tasked with dreaming big in creating our collective vision for 2022.

We will go into the new year with the same ethical standards and values, but with some changes to our supply list, and also in how we will service you. We are thinking small, personalising our approach and dedicating more time to investing in career pathways for the next generation, time to innovate and create!

Lots of this is already in play, and we welcome you to be a part of it. This season already we have supported the launch a new enterprise by a former worker, Infant Massage by Ebonie, the opening of a new space, The Cove by Mayala Bol and started a new collaboration with City of Darwin Libraries to provide Bambatj story time sessions in our community.

As always, we appreciate your honest feedback, so please send me an email: karina@starwin.com.au and let us know what MK Eco by Starwin means to you and what you would value more of in 2022. We will do our best to integrate it into our 2022 Vision: Two Kind. The launch of this strategy will be coming soon, so keep connected!

For now, please take the time to catch up on our stories and we invite you to join in our End of Season SALE - our gift back to you. It's full of specials and also last chance gifts, so get to it and enjoy spreading the kindness.

With kindness, Starwin Collective

As part of our 2021 Vision we are supporting the creation of a new space in Darwin city, The Cove. Led by Mayala-Bol, The Cove represents a safe place and cultural space. Co-located right next door, we are investing in supporting the vision of Mayala-Bol founders, Noni and Menah to provide a safe space to connect and self nourish.  Here's a bit more about their story...

"Mayala-Bol is a business developed by two Maningrida women Menah Mckenzie of the Anbarra-Diyama clan and Noni Eather of the Kunibidji clan. Mayala-Bol is a small business focused on holistic wellbeing and wellness. We create, facilitate and navigate holistic wellbeing workshops and culturally safe spaces and resources. The Name Mayála-Bol comes from the Ndjébbana and Burarra languages of Maningrida, West Arnhemland. Mayála means "Idea/Knowledge" in Ndjébbana and Bol means "Fire" in the Burarra language."

We invite you to visit their Mayala-Bol website for a calendar of wellbeing circles, workshops, wellness sessions and creative activities. The Cove is also a community space to hire for creatives, young entrepreneurs, small business owners, grassroots organisations, wellness facilitators and more. Follow the journey @ Mayala-Bol
CELEBRATING OUR COLLECTIVE ACHIEVEMENTS

We have some amazing enterprises who are a part of and support our one-of-a-kindness collective. We invite you to take a moment to discover their recent stories that have been in the spotlight...
Follow us @starwincollective for more positive stories in your feed!
More to celebrate! This season Mimmim has been featured on the Truly Aus site with her story, and here's a little preview...

Mim’s collaboration with Catherine Manuell Design has given traction to her art and business. Catherine Manuell Design supports the Indigenous art code – maintaining standards in ethical trade for Indigenous art and artists. Their new collaboration comes from The Aboriginal Women Artists Project combining the fashion accessory designs of Catherine Manuell with the artworks of women and artists from remote communities in Australia which has been running for approximately 15 years. The artists benefit directly from an ongoing royalty from the production of every item made.
